98point6 - Virtual Health Benefit
98point6 is a new kind of primary care that gives you on-demand access to a physician via text messaging on your mobile phone. UCMC has added 98point6 to your health benefits package so you can now have access to care 24/7 from wherever you are—on the bus commuting to work, at a coffee shop or even in a meeting.
98point6 physicians can:
- Diagnose and treat a range of conditions, including upper respiratory illness, sexual health/UTIs, gastrointestinal issues and behavioral health concerns (stress, anxiety)
- Answer any medical questions you have (no question is too small)
- Provide consultation and outline care options
- Order any necessary prescriptions or lab tests
Visits with 98point6 physicians are available to eligible employees and dependents aged 1 and older enrolled in UCHP at no cost to you. To learn more and to watch a quick video on how easy it is to use the service, please visit www.98point6.com/uchicagomedicine.
The physicians who will be providing recommendations, advice and/or medical services to you as part of 98point6 are not employed by or contracted with The University of Chicago Medical Center. They are separately provided by and through 98point6, the corporate offeror of the Program.
